Active Week 2026

We had a fantastic Active Week in St. Fiachra’s Senior National School with lots of fun activities taking place throughout the week for all classes.

All pupils took part in exciting kickboxing sessions with Robbie and Michelle. We were also delighted to welcome Louise from Tennis Ireland, who introduced the children to tennis skills and games during fun-filled coaching sessions.

There was great excitement during our dodgeball and rounders competitions, which took place in both the school hall and Ardmore. The pupils showed wonderful teamwork, sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout all the matches.

A big thank you to Anto from Whitehall Colmcille for organising blitzes for our 3rd to 5th classes. The blitzes were a huge success and greatly enjoyed by all involved. Well done also to our 6th class pupils who did an excellent job refereeing the matches.

Another highlight of the week was the capacity challenge on the office yard, which was lots of fun and encouraged everyone to get involved and work together.
